QPQProcessiseco-friendlyprocess.DuetotheQPQprocess,theworkpiecesurfacegetablackcolouringcausedbytheFe3O4oxidelayer.Thesurfacetreatmentusedforgeneralpurposesofcarbonoralloysteelmachinedpartsorcastings.Thistechniqueprocessincreaseofthewearresistanceandfatiguestrengthincludingincreasedcorrosionprotection.Electroplatedchromiumprotectionlayerscanthusbereplaced.
QPQ是一种环保无污染型处理工艺，处理后会在工件表面形成一层Fe3O4为主的黑色氧化膜。该表处理适用于碳钢，合金钢或者铸件。目的是用来提高零件的耐磨性和疲劳强度，包括增强防腐蚀保护。可以用来取代电镀铬。
