摘要：Ion sensing electrode and methods for producing such electrodes and ion-selective membranes therefor, said membranes comprising a plastic member having adesired shape. The plastic member is soaked in a solvent which is a swelling agent for saidplastic and in which an ion-selective material is dissolved. Subsequently the solvent isremoved from the member. This method allows the use of preformed polymericmembers having the desired shape to produce ion-selective membranes, allowingsimplified production of ion-sensing electrodes, as well as combination ion-sensing andreference electrodes.
