摘要：The security device for portable equipment includes a rigid base plate, and aresilient elastomeric base pad permanently secured to the base plate for providing aflexible but strong adhesive bond to the surface of the portable equipment or theanchor fixture. A rotatable attachment fitting is connected to the base plate, and includesa rotatable shaft having a means for receiving the security cable that is preferably atransverse aperture through the shaft, and that include a means for securing the cable tothe shaft, such as by a set screw in the shaft.
