摘要：A method and system for detecting and responding to fugitive fueling of areciprocating internal combustion engine use a controller to determine the actual power
output of an engine, as well as a predicted power output based on fuel provided by theengine's fuel system. An engine controller may determine a presence of fugitive fuelingby comparing the predicted output with the actual output, and prompt an emergencyshutdown sequence if the actual engine output exceeds the predicted power output.
